Exodus 24

v8 – Moses took the blood and dashed it on the people – I guess that’s the more literal version of being ‘covered in the blood’.  – a visceral image of how disgusting it is, the sacrifice involved, and it’s tangible nature. 

v9-11 Bizarre encounter with God.  I can’t get over the human features they ascribe to God. 
The tablets of stone – I wonder what God’s handwriting would look like, and what it would say about Him if we analyzed it… and if we could find those tablets, could we grab a dna sample?
