This is a great psalm to be read out lout when surrounded by injustice.
Pleading for God to remember
“Remember your congregation, which you acquired long ago, which you redeemed to be the tribe of your heritage…”
v7 – they set your sanctuary on fire; they descreated the dwelling place of your name…
v19 … do not forget the life of your poor forever
How often it seems that our ethic and timing may seem better than God’s… why is that? especially when we’re seeking the good with the best of intentions?
I can’t believe that God is simply sitting on his hands.
