v3 – Jesus Christ – who gave himself for our sins to set us free from the present evil age
v6 deserting ‘the one’ who called you into the grace of Christ – was Paul referring to himself here?
v8 – if we or an angel from heaven should ‘proclaim’ to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that one be accursed – Paul doesn’t seem very open to the proclamations of others… should we?
v10 If i were still pleasing people, i would not be a servant of Christ – how many of us, including myself at times, are found trying to please others and not our God?
v13 Paul’s gospel – not from human source, or taught – but direct revelation – was his transmission of it fully divine as well?
Paul seems a bit hung up on the fact that he didn’t talk to anyone else and he was directly called by God. Why do we stress communal discernment so much these days?
Paul was well aware of the potency of his own story
