It’s interesting how ‘the Gentiles” received the word of God – seems to be an over-generalization.
Peter was in a ‘trance’ – I wonder what old school fundies think of that?

‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.’ – This entire household being saved thing is a bit bizarre in an individualized western context as well.
v26 “The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.” – They were not self-identified as Christians – others saw Christ in them and described them as such. What labels would people put onto you and why?
