Acts 9

v1 Saul – ‘breathing threats and murder’ – this dude was hardcore both before and after his encounter with Christ

v4 “Saul, why do you persecute me?” – He was actually persecuting his followers, but this speaks of Christ’s high association with his followers

I wonder what happened to those who were with Saul and had heard the voice as well?  Can simply eavesdropping on another person’s conversation with God lead to transformation?

v13 Ananias – “I have heard from many of this man, how much evil he has done to your saints in Jerusalem” – ‘your’ that sense of high relationship again and ownership.  what did Ananias mean when he said ‘saints’?

v16 “I myself will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name” – Paul’s gonna get it.
It’s also interesting how that suffering works itself out in such a profoundly beautiful way.

v18 another case of immediate baptism without being ‘educated’… and before having a good meal v19
